GENERAL QUESTIONS
What comes with registration?Attendee registration includes all aspects of the agenda from morning wellness to workshops to social/food functions. Spouse/companion tickets include access to all social/food functions but not educational sessions.
Do I need to be a member of the ICA to attend? Yes, you need to be an ICA Member to register and attend ASCEND. To join the International Caterers Association, please click here.
What comes with the spouse/companion registration?Spouse/companions are invited to attend all social events throughout the ASCEND. If you plan to bring your spouse to any event, they will need to register and have a name badge. Registration can be done at the same time as your registration.
Where do I pick up my registration materials?You will need to pick up your name badge along with any other materials when you arrive. Your name badge serves as entry to all events, including social activities, and you will not be allowed in without it. The registration desk will be located in the foyer.
What do I do if I need to cancel?No refunds for cancellations will be provided. Registrants who are unable to attend may send a substitute from the same company/firm. You'll need to complete the substitution form no later than June 15, 2026. All cancellations must be submitted via ASCEND Cancellation & Substitution Form here.
Can I transfer my registration if I can no longer attend?If you are no longer able to attend, you may transfer your registration to someone else in your organization. The request must be made by submitting an ASCEND Cancellation & Substitution Form here no later than June 15, 2026. Additional fees may apply.
Is there a deadline to book my hotel room? How do I make the reservation?ASCEND attendees and partners can book a room at the group rate of $199 per night (plus taxes/fees) while vacancy lasts or until the deadline of June 15, 2026. View information on how to book your room here.
Can I receive the discounted room rate for dates before and/or after the conference?ASCEND attendees and partners can book a room at the group rate on three days pre and post July 19 and July 21, 2026 while vacancy lasts. Note: There are limited rooms available pre and post and are not guaranteed.
Does the hotel provide complimentary transportation to/from the airport?Although the hotel does not provide complimentary transportation, traveling to ASCEND should only take about 20 minutes (13 miles) from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). Ride share service is readily available from the airport. Transportation options from the airport are available here.
What are the driving directions to the hotel? What are the parking fees?The Perry Lane Hotel Valet parking is available at the hotel for a discounted rate of $50/per day.
How do I get an attendee list?Approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the event, registered delegates and partners can expect to receive an email entitled "Tips For Your Trip to ASCEND". This email will contain the attendee list including name, organization, city, and state in PDF format. Additional registration lists are not available upon request or in any other format.
What is the attire?ASCEND Sessions/Social Events: business casual/resort wear is suitable (dress shorts/capris, khaki pants, dresses/skirts, slacks, blouses, knit tops, collared shirts). We also recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket to the educational sessions, as the conference rooms can get chilly.
Will there be complimentary WiFi available?High-speed WiFi access is complimentary throughout the hotel. This include guest room, public areas, and meeting space.
