About ICA

The foundation of the ICA was laid in 1981 when a visionary group of off-premise caterers founded the National Off-Premise Caterers Roundtable. The founders recognized the need for an industry association to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information. Later named the National Caterers Association and finally the International Caterers Association, the organization has grown in both size and scope to become an international force in the industry. Currently we have over 1900 members throughout the world.

"I have truly appreciated all the support ICA has offered through the roundtable discussions.  The pandemic has been sad and scary, but the sense of security I gleaned from the solidarity of the catering community gave me hope, strength, and inspiration.  Thank you for organizing, and special thanks to Jason Sutton for leading the conversations and working hard to include all participants.  Keep up the good work."
