Are you ready to share your skills and passion for the culinary industry through a role in ICA leadership? If you have insights and ideas on how to improve the association and further its member goals, then we would like to invite you to run for an ICA board position.

 

Submit your online application by September 28 to be considered for board candidacy.

To be considered for election to the ICA Board of Directors, candidates must:

  • Complete an online application, provide a headshot, bio and resume by September 28, 2018.
  • Be a Principle/Executive member of an ICA member catering company for at least 12 months prior to swearing in.
  • Have attended at least one Catersource or Art of Catering Food conference in the last 36 months.
  • Sign a board commitment form that outlines the responsibilities of Directors.

ICAEF Merit Scholarships Available for ICA Members

The International Caterers Association Educational Foundation (ICAEF) is now accepting scholarship applications for:


 
ICAEF SCHOLARSHIP TO CATERSOURCE CONFERENCE & TRADE SHOW 2019 AND
MARY CRAFTS / CULINARY CRAFTS SCHOLARSHIP


February 24-27, 2019 in New Orleans, LA
 
Scholarships are awarded based on merit.  The criteria includes that the firm must be a member in good standing of the ICA for at least one (1) year prior to submission by conference date. Multiple applications from a member company will be accepted, however, a maximum of 2 applications per company will be awarded.
 
The scholarship includes full registration tuition for the conference, In addition, a $500.00 TRAVEL STIPEND will be paid to the MEMBER COMPANY and paid post-conference, once recipient completes the mandatory survey and submits their post conference survey.  Package does not include social functions – those are the responsibility of the recipient. Candidate is responsible for coordinating their own travel and expenses including transportation, lodging, meals, etc.

** The application must be completed ONLINE in one sitting. You will not have the opportunity to “save and go back to finish.”

 MARY CRAFTS / CULINARY CRAFTS SCHOLARSHIP

The Mary Crafts/Culinary Crafts Scholarship includes tuition to the Catersource conference to be held February 24-27, 2019 in New Orleans, plus a $500.00 travel stipend made payable to the member company and paid post-conference.
Scholarship also includes an all expenses paid 5-day trip to Utah for mentorship with Mary Crafts and Culinary Crafts at a mutually agreed upon date and/or Mary will come to visit your company for one-on-one mentorship and personal consultation for your business.
Applicants may apply for both the ICAEF general scholarship and the MC/CC- but will only receive one or the other.
